2013 High School Musical Threatre Awards

The Orpheum’s High School Musical Theatre Awards recognizes achievements in all areas of high school musical theatre. This event is part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards program which includes 30 programs from across the country.

On Thursday, May 23th at 7:00 p.m., students and supporters from all 24 participating schools throughout the Mid-South will gather at The Orpheum for the final awards ceremony and over 200 students will perform on stage. The Lead Actor and Actress winners will then travel to New York City in June to compete in the Jimmy Awards held at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway.

Ticket Information

What is the refund and /or exchange policy?

All ticket sales are final. Refunds, exchanges or retroactive discounts are not possible.

Can I bring my camera and/or phone?

The use of electronic devices is prohibited in the theatre. This includes phones, cameras, video and audio recorders, flashlights, etc. Due to performance copyrights and the disruptive nature of electronic devices, guests using these items may be ejected without refund.

Does my child need a ticket?

Children under four years of age are not generally permitted in the theaters. At designated shows, children of all ages are permitted. However, everyone regardless of age must have a ticket.

What is the food / beverage policy?

Outside food and beverage is not permitted in the theaters.
