Grand Stand Comedy Tour

Starring Don "DC" Curry & Friends

Don "DC" Curry

Widely known as the star of numerous stand-up comedy tours (including the highly applauded “Royal Comedy Tour,” of winter/spring 2010 and 2011) playing huge theatres at home and abroad and headlining special engagements at the nation’s hottest comedy clubs, Don “D.C.” Curry’s talents are far more than meets the eye at a single glance. At second glance you’ll see him co-starring in major studio pictures or taking on the duties of leading man in indie feature films. Look again and you’ll see him touring the country as the lead in a hit stage play or serving as the front man of his own R&B and Blues band. Take yet another glimpse (or listen) and you’ll hear him shining as a skilled voice-over artist on hit TV shows like Boondocks. Bottom line, DC Curry is a very versatile, and extremely funny man.

Michael Blackson

He has been called one of the most original stand-up comics in the country, and his performances leave audiences laughing in tears. Michael Blackson, aka, ‘The African King of Comedy', has been entertaining audiences all across the country and around the globe for more than a decade. Inspired by the stand up comedy of Eddie Murphy, Blackson began to develop his comedic talent in 1992 in the unkind comedy clubs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Red Grant

American comedian and actor Red Grant has remained one of the top comedians on television over the years, gaining millions of fans from all walks of life. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Red has gone to heights many performers can only dream of, doing things that few comics have done since Robert Townsend. Getting his start at the Apollo Theatre and HBO’s Def Comedy Jam in 1996; Red Grant is best known for his contagious laugh and appearances in American Hustle (which he starred next to Katt Williams), First Sunday and Martin Lawrence First Amendment. Red Grant has become synonymous with “real, raw comedy.” He can be seen most recently on Shaq’s All Star Comedy Jam, as well as his hour Showtime special "Caught Red Handed" and Comedy Central Presents “Red Grant" (half hour special).
