Performing Arts of Germantown chosen to perform as Munchkins in Wizard of Oz

The National Tour of The Wizard of Oz announced that Elizabeth Anne Brown's Performing Arts of Germantown team will perform the roles of "munchkins" while this beloved classic is live on stage at The Orpheum Theatre when the show performs Dec. 15-20 in Memphis.
The dance and vocals team consists of Hayley Bardos, Anne Marie Hall, Rachel Collins, Tatum Farlow, Cole Jackson, Ty Lenderman, Demi Foucault, Laura Rowland, Lauren Sisco, Hannah Stevens, Caroline Walker, and Olivia Wilkinson. Vocals were taught by Cindy Barrett.
The Wizard of Oz, touching down in held auditions on Nov. 14 to find a group of 12 local children to perform the roles of "munchkins" as part of their continuing arts education. Forty Mid-South children learned choreography of Leigh Constantine from the National Tour of The Wizard of Oz and sang the beloved classic ‘Ding Dong the Witch is Dead' as part of the audition. Three groups from the Mid-South area participated in the auditions.
