Concierge & Information Desk: For your convenience there is an information desk located in the Grand Lobby.

Coat Check: For a small fee there is a coat check in the Grand Lobby.

Children: The Orpheum's Broadway productions are generally suitable for ages 12 & older. Children under 4 not admitted unless age appropriate. Everyone who enters the theatre must have a ticket.

Tours: Available for groups of 20 or more. Call 901-525-7800, ext. 234

Art Gallery: Sponsored by UP Bank, located on the mezzanine level.

Restrooms: Located in the parlor, balcony, lower lounge, and lower gallery areas. The largest facilities are in the lower lounge located below the Grand Lobby. Restrooms for the physically challenged are located in the parlor adjacent to the Grand Lobby.

Latecomers: Will be seated at an appropriate break in the performance.

Infrared Hearing System: Headsets are available in the coat check room. Donations are appreciated.

Seating for the Physically Challenged: Available at any ticket center. Please let the Orpheum know of any special requirements or assistance that you may need in advance.

Accessible Seating Policy:
The Orpheum Theatre is an historic building. By enlisting the aid of an accredited architectural firm and input from other organizations concerned with limited access, we have made every effort to provide comfortable and accommodating space for physically challenged patrons.

Accessible seating has been arranged in the rear Orchestra left. As we are not able to provide seating in the upper levels of the Theatre because of safety precautions, the seats in this designated area are priced at the lower balcony price.

There are five spaces for wheelchairs and five chairs for other accessible needs, such as walkers and any other physical limitations. The row directly in front of the wheelchair spaces, Row BB, is held for anyone accompanying patrons with accessible seating requirements. Row BB tickets are priced the same as the regular back orchestra. These seats are released for public sale 48 hours prior to performance time or earlier in the event of a sell out.

The five chairs available in the accessible section for other special needs patrons can be sold to companions or other patrons without special needs, 48 hours before performance time provided they are still available.

The Orpheum has two handicap parking spaces in the private lot on the west side of the building. These parking spaces are offered to anyone with a handicap license plate or parking pass on a first-come basis. Some public lots near The Orpheum also offer handicap parking.

Emergency Calls: Please turn off cellular phones and beepers when entering the theatre. Inform those who may need to reach you in an emergency to call 901-525-7800 with your seat number.

No-Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited inside the theatre. Please take your ticket stub for readmission if you leave the building to smoke.

Fire Notice: Exits are located to your left and right in the auditorium, in the orchestra and balcony foyers and in the Grand Lobby -- marked by a red illuminated sign. In case of fire, please walk, do not run, to the nearest exit.

In the event of inclement weather all performances will go on as scheduled. Each production is contractually entitled to the ticket revenues from their performances so long as the actors are on stage and perform. Legal exceptions are only allowed for “Acts of God” or “regulations of public authorities,” which happens when the government steps in to close a venue during severe weather or an emergency. Otherwise, “the show must go on.”
Refunds and reseating to other performances are not allowed per this agreement.

In the event of a cancellation, the Orpheum will notify all media and notices will be posted on our website.
