2025 Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards

The Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards are ready to “defy gravity” as they return for an unforgettable celebration of student talent from across the Mid-South! On Thursday, May 22 at 7PM, the Orpheum stage will sparkle with performances and recognition from 52 high schools across Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, and new this year- Missouri!

This year’s ceremony will pay tribute to all things Oz and will be backed by the talents of the Memphis Youth Symphony Program and technical support from student partners in Theatre Memphis’ Tech Academy for a night filled with heart, courage, and no shortage of show-stopping musical numbers.

“We can’t wait to ‘ease on down’ the yellow brick road for another great year,” said Lena Wallace Black, Education and Engagement Manager at the Orpheum Theatre Group. “This one-night-only celebration of all things high school musical theatre is a chance to uplift our students and showcase the amazing work happening on school stages across our region.”
