Artist Lineup

Jimbo Mathus

Jimbo Mathus is a genre-defying musician whose journey has taken him from the Mississippi Delta to national stardom with the Squirrel Nut Zippers. A born explorer of sound, Mathus blends blues, jazz, rock, folk, and swing into a style uniquely his own, shaped by his Southern roots and years of rambling across the U.S. His breakout with the Zippers in the 1990s led to platinum records and worldwide tours, but his legacy was truly anchored by his return to Mississippi, where he backed blues legend Buddy Guy, founded Delta Recording Studio, and explored his musical lineage through a connection to Charley Patton. Since the early 2000s, Mathus has released more than a dozen solo albums and reactivated Squirrel Nut Zippers, which has become a popular draw across the U.S. His latest release, These 13 (2021), is a collaboration with former Zippers bandmate-turned-solo artist Andrew Bird.

Tonya Dyson

Tonya Dyson is a Memphis-based soul and jazz vocalist whose voice blends the timeless warmth of classic soul with the improvisational grace of jazz. With a style built in rich storytelling and emotional authenticity, she has carved out a space as one of the city’s most respected live performers.

Her career has taken her from intimate clubs to festival stages, where she’s shared bills with national touring acts and held her own with a sound that is both deeply Southern and globally resonant. Known for her ability to reinterpret standards and deliver heartfelt original material, Dyson’s performances are marked by sincerity, soul, and musicianship that transcends genres.

Whether fronting a full band or delivering stripped-down acoustic sets, Tonya’s music reflects themes of love, growth, and resilience- echoing the traditions of the great soul and jazz artists who came before her, while offering a fresh, modern voice in today’s musical landscape.

Currently at work on new recordings, she continues to perform regularly across the region, captivating audiences with every note.

Jeremy Stanfill

Jeremy Stanfill is a Memphis staple and singer-songwriter who’s been playing in bands since he was a young boy. Known for his soulful voice, heartfelt songwriting, and relentless work ethic, Jeremy is deeply rooted in the Memphis music scene.

Throughout his career, he has fronted several well-known Memphis bands and also played drums for others. He has toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe, contributed to numerous recordings, and recently served as a vocal guide on Craig Brewer’s new biopic musical about a Neil Diamond tribute band, starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson.

Currently, Jeremy drums for Heartbreak Hill Trio with Matt and Nikki Hill, plays acoustic guitar and sings background vocals for Cyrena Wages, and is the longtime drummer for Memphis favorites Star & Micey. He’s collaborated with a wide range of acclaimed producers and musicians in both studio and live settings.

Jeremy’s latest singles—“4403 (Time Machine),” “Wild Heart,” and “Moving Day”—were produced by Elliot Ives, guitar player for Justin Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids, Scott Hardin, and Jeremy himself. They are available now on all streaming platforms.
