Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf is a whimsical setting of the beloved children’s story. But is there more to the music than a Russian folk fable? Discover the hilarious and irreverent hidden insights of this music as Music Director Robert Moody of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra takes you on a journey that is much more than a children’s story narrated by special guest performer Ann Marie Hall.
Ann Marie Hall is an actor/director who last appeared with the Memphis Symphony in Walton's Façade and is happy to return to collaborate with Bob Moody on Peter and the Wolf. She has received numerous Ostrander Awards for her directing as well as acting and is an all too young recipient of the Eugart Yerian Lifetime Achievement Award. Some of Ms. Hall’s favorite shows are directing The Play that Goes Wrong, Urinetown, The Musical, Into the Woods, Ruthless, The Musical, Singing in the Rain, Evil Dead, the Musical and Side Show. She proudly serves on the Theatre Works Executive Board providing a home performance space for multiple diverse independent theatres in Memphis.
