About Zora The Brave, In the Shade of the Chinaberry Tree

Join little Zora, a bold, adventurous, yet sensitive young African American girl, as she embarks on a magical adventure guided by the legendary Harlem Renaissance icon, Zora Neale Hurston, aka Mama Zora. When little Zora gets teased on Heritage Day at school, it sends her on a quest with Mama Zora to discover where she comes from. Together, they'll journey through Zora’s vibrant life and iconic stories to uncover the strength and beauty of their ancestral birthright. Zora The Brave, In the Shade of the Chinaberry Tree celebrates who we are, where we come from and reminds us that resilience, curiosity, and strength live within us all!
