About It's A Wonderful Life

Celebrate the season with a special screening of It’s a Wonderful Life at the Orpheum Theatre, benefiting Porter-Leath's 24th annual Toy Truck drive! Before the film, enjoy a festive preshow featuring the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ and remarks from Mary Owen, youngest daughter of It’s a Wonderful Life star Donna Reed.

Admission is free for two with a new, unwrapped toy donation for pre-school ages, or $10 at the door without a toy donation. Toys may be donated in two ways: you can bring a toy to the downtown box office Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or on the night of the screening, or you can drop off a toy during any performance at the Orpheum or Halloran Centre.

About the Film

George Bailey (James Stewart) sets aside his dreams of world travel to run his father’s small community bank and protect the people of Bedford Falls from greedy businessman Mr. Potter (Lionel Barrymore). When a costly mistake pushes George to the brink of despair, a visit from a kindly angel (Henry Travers) will show George how the life of one good man can change the world forever.

About Mary Owen

We are honored to welcome Mary Owen, the youngest daughter of Academy Award–winning actress Donna Reed (who portrayed the unforgettable Mary Hatch Bailey in the film) and Hollywood Producer Tony Owen.
